We have a Customer who is changing Base Stations to IP Device Only but I am unable to get them to make Emergency Calls (UK 999)
They are on MCD 6.0 and I have a route which is Unsrestricted by COR and is set Emergency Route.
Do I have to change anything else?

I believe it defaults to 911, so try a system speed call 911 to 999 and see if that works. Thanks.

Agreed. Probably doesn't know that 999 is the emergency code. Wonder if you set the programming for the 999 route created in ARS as and emergency route that it would recognize the 999?

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

999 does work in the UK in fact any number can be designated and routed via an emergency route. Make sure ARS has the 999 with no digits to follow to the emergency route.
Make sure that you qualify the digit length in the route (3 digits before out pulsing) and also make sure the COS of IP device only has trunk access enabled. As below

Public Network Access via DPNSS Select "Yes" to permit devices to originate calls via DPNSS trunks to CO trunks. Select "No" to disable network access. Default is "No"
Public Network to Public Network Connection Allowed Select "Yes" to leave a public network trunk connected solely with other public network trunks. Default is "No"
