IP DECT

Hi all!

I have the next installation in one company using IPBS R4:
192.168.1.200 IPBS Master
192.168.1.201 IPBS Slave1
192.168.1.202 IPBS Slave2
192.168.1.203 IPBS Slave3
192.168.1.204 IPBS Slave4
192.168.1.205 IPBS Slave5
and the gateway is 192.168.1.1.

Now I need install a new IPBS in a new building and this location is connected with the company using a router. The network here is 192.168.10.0 and I have connection to 192.168.1.1. (I can see all the IPBS using ping and browser)

Can I use the new IPBS as Master or Slave?. This new IPBS have the IP 192.168.10.200 and the gateway is 192.168.1.1.

I tested it and the new IPBS can't connect to IPBS MASTER.

Any idea?

It must be a slave but a sync master.
Otherwise it will try to sync over the air but it can't.

What type IPBS is normal or compact? Compact won't work. Also configure it like peter says. Look at the master IPBS the new IPBS should show up there.

It needs to be a slave and to quote the manual:

"Having separate locations, each with its own synchronization is done through the settings on the DECT | Air Sync tab of each base station. For each location, set the same Sync Region number for all the base stations at that location, using a different number for each location. In addition, set the Sync Mode of one of the base stations in each location as Master."
