IP DECT Upgrade - File too large

IPBS2 Compact 10.0.6, tried to upgrade the IPBS both using the boot and the firmware files to 10.2.9 the upgrade process aborts: "file too large". Has anyone seen that?

No, but then we havent gone above 7.2, as there were so many reported issues on 10, and 7.2 works perfectly fine with R11 systems.
