IP - DECT RFP 32 and OP27 HANDSET

Have any of you ever programmed the IP DECT unit? I don't see any documentation on MOL.

Put in a static ip with the mac of the RBS
Then this RBS will get that ip
Browse to the RBS and start programming
Login is the same as the 3300 (default login)

That's exactly one of the question... DHCP.

Does the unit only work by getting options from a DHCP server? I am planning to deploy the unit in a remote office where there's no descent DHCP server. Main Office and remote one are IPSec Linked using Fortigate Boxes, The 3300 Controller is of course at the main site.

I was just thinking to assign options manually as we do to the three 5312s in the remote site.

So... Can one assign Static Values to the IP- DECT RFP 32 base??

There is a tool for configuring it.
Try looking for it at Detewe which is the real brand.
Avaya uses this tool too so that is why i know it exists.

Peter, have you used this tool with the Mitel version (IP-DECT RFP 32)? Please confirm, we are going to buy the base and a couple of phones to make a test.

Yes i did it once.
I works well.
I have worked on both systems so that is why i have done it.
