I am trying to install a new system using DECT IP RBS V3 Compact.
when plugging the unit and trying to connect with the DECT mobility manager I am getting "timer expired" red message instead of the "list ok" when pressing the list configuration button.
When trying with a 3rd party DHCP server
The RBS is getting and ip address and I can ping and access web management. However the password in the web management does not match the one in the knowledgebase.
When trying to connect without a DHCP server or with my computer directlty connected to the base station I was getting "timer expired".
I have followed each and every step of the installation document but the behaviour is not the actual.
In the appendix there are parameters that can be pushed using DHCP scope option so that one can boot the Base station using tftp server and file parameters as well as the magic string "OpenMobility" however there is no example on the syntax of these dhcp options and between not knowing if the issue is some other and whether I can really get the base station to boot properly using scope options I feel lost.
Can anyone help ?
