IP Office IP500 V2 Running 9.0.3

3 x IPBS2 base stations
Master is using the IP 500 as its time source, the default with Provisioning enabled.

Provisioning enabled because client wants access to the Company system directory

Digital handsets display correct time. All 3725 IP DECT handsets are 1 hour ahead

2 Slave base stations show they are also using the IP Office as their time source

Amended the IP Office clock to -1 hour and the Digital handsets displayed the new time

DECT handsets still showing the actual time + 1 hour

Have reset everything and rebuilt system with no effect

Master Base Station Setup

1. Select General and then select the NTP tab.
2. Using the Timezone drop-down menu, select the appropriate time zone for you area.
3. Click OK.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the update

I have tried this with no effect

Going thru the Avaya IP DECT R4 Installation manual I found an omission

As you state above whatever Time zone you enter is ignored and listed to the right is the time zone active

In the DECT / Radio Config on the Master Base Station I found an NTP section which had a CET time offset setting

Once I changed it to reflect the UK GMT setting everything OK and the time now showing correctly on the 3725's

One time when reading the manual did not help

Provisioning for the directory?
You can always enable the directory, no need for provisioning.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

How does the IP Office syncs the time?

Using a public NTP? VM Pro?

Did you setup the timezone in IP Office?

Sorry, bad reading. I have never had the problen using IPO as the ntp server.

Me neither, it works all the time.
