IP Dect "Echo" issues

Just installed IP DECT base stations and wireless handsets in 3 locations for a customer.
They are complaining that they hear "Echo" on all calls being handled on the wireless sets.
Are there any specific causes / solutions to rectify this issue?
They had older analog handsets and did not experience this type of problem.
