Had the Openphone dect working on V5.1, then upgraded to V6 and the dect still worked. Moved the dect base station to another system to test and it did not work. Have now put it back on the original system and it still does not work. I did change the ICP address on the base station.
The unit will get a lease but the LED stays on amber and i cannot connect via the web but I can ping it.
I wonder if the RPF base station does not like being told to look at another controller then switched back again!

The unit really needs a reset/default button on it.

Any idea as i will not have any hair left soon!

what was wrong?

I am having issues with the RFP IP DECT on release 6.

Thanks,
Eugene

if controller is on release 6 the dhcp server also needs option 224 as follows:

Option 224
ID = OpenMobility
Format= ASCII string
Value = OpenMobility
Scope=global

hope this helps

sorry,
my problem was the base station would not boot up fully.I can only assume option 224 was not required pre v6 as it was working before.

Thanks,

Sorted my problem. It actually needs option 224.
Thanks for the info.
