Hello. I am trying to set up a New DECT IP V4 Compact Base station with 3730 phones. I can't get the base IP address to show up in System status thus Phone not working.
I already have another DECT phone configured as an IP DECT Line in IP Office. So when I try to add this base system the only option I get is a SIP DECT Line.
So when I configured the Base station I select SIP UDP as the protocol to use. I do not see anywhere in the DECT 4 installation guides that mention the Different programming options when the SIP protocol is used. Does anyone have experience programming the DECT Base with SIP. Could you point me to a Guide or paper as to the settings? When I use Sys Monitor I do not even see SIP Messages from the device. The radio does say it is connect to Master 127.0.0.1
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for response. But, the issue is coverage for the base station. The 1st base station is on 1 st floor the new one is going to be on 5 th floor.

Only a single IP DECT line is supported. If the two base stations aren't in range of each other, with one configured as the master base station for the IP Office connection then you're stuck (Avaya and Ascom would expect you to have base stations on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors or a second IP Office on the 5th floor).

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Just an update. It is my own fault for not understanding documentation. You can only use SIP DECT Line with D100 and D200 base stations. Thank you for you advise though.
