IP Dect Issue

Hi All
I have the following issue with an IP dect setup
The DECT handsets are able to put the call on hold by R then after a few seconds it will time out waiting to have a number entered and then there is no way for them to get the call back,pressing R again does not get the call back.
Once the call has gone it is as if the customer has hung up. After about 5 minutes it calls the extension back as if it was a new call but they cannot get back to it until that point. On the system status it just says On Hold
