IP conflict

I am having random Ip conflicts.. once evey 3 or 4 weeks. I have set the DHCP to check 5 times before assigning the IP, i dont know what else to do to troubleshoot.
When i look at the IP there is no other machine with the IP Conflict..can anyone give me any suggestions.

Is it possible that someone has a notebook with a fixed IP?

You could try using Look at LAN to monitor that IP and it should notify you when something changes, it should then be able to tell you a bit about the other host, MAC address etc.

Thanks. Everything is on DHCP on that vlan.
DHCP 10.158.2.1-254
static 10.158.0.1-254
