Dear Friends,
I have around 300 nodes in my office ,
I want to know a method to identify the machines if an ip conflict take place ( i know the first machine , but dont know that which one the other pc having the same IP out of 299 machines).

Regards
dev

Change the ip address of the one that is giving you the error. Then at a cmd prompt you can type nbtstat /A ipaddress and it will give you the name of the machine and the logged in user for the ip address your put in.

Example:
nbtstat -A 192.168.1.56

Happy hunting. . .
Maybe this is a good reason to swith to DHCP?

Televison will make radio obsolete.
