I found this post on the forum, but this didn't help me.
I only have the problem of no Corporate Directory in my IP Communicator. On all phones this works perfectly.

I had the problem that the ringlist.xml couln't reach the IPC-program. But I solved that with partially disabling the firewall. But I can not find why the corporate directory and Services aren't available to IPC.

When I push the Services button, or the Directory button is says 'host not found'. But If I enter the URL in a browser I get a perfectly well XML-page.

Someone any idea?

make sure you have IP comm set to your correct TFTP server in the settings, usually its the subscriber ip first then the publisher.

Hope this helps.

The Publisher is the TFTP-server. The fact that the IPC registers itself and calls are possible means that the TFTP is correct. As I said, I'm able to change the ringtones, also tftp.

i'd check those tftp folders and see if they are of different in size and also make sure the rights are set identical on both the pub and sub.

Hope this helps.

I had a similar issue with hardware based phones at a remote location. They would register and come up fine but no Corp Directory. It was a TFTP issue. TFTP was blocked in an intermediate site. Removed the block from the ACL and it fixed the problem.

I was thinking in the same way. Something with ACL's. But why can hardphones in the same vlan at the same site access all functions on the CCM and the IP Communicator can't?

Monday I will look at it again. Check the ACL's and VLAN's once again....

Because everything is on the same site I can not imagine it's an issue with the tftp-server. But I will check that also on monday.

I would have to agree with Iwontrember, It sounds like a right issues. Verify that all have full rights to the tftp file on both the Publisher and subriber.
