We are having connectivity issues using an IP Communicator client traversing a PIX firewall version IOS 7.0
We can see the skinny RTP channel connecting to the Call manager on the firewall for an inbound connection - tcp session is established, however the return audio is failing.
The default service policy rule inspects skinny traffic, so I would assume that it would recognise the return connection for UDP RTP packets.
However we can see from the syslog that the firewall access-list is blocking outbound traffic from the client IP phone back to the IP communicator on the RTP/RTCP dynamic UDP ports 16384 - 32769.
I don't want to setup a rule from the IP Phone for the dynamic range detailed above - I assumed the default skinny inspect would fixup this traffic with the initial connection - is there anything else I need to setup/change?
