I am experiencing intermittent 1way audio when using Checkpoint VPN. I've noticed under preferences that I can select the network adaptor of the onboard nic, wifi or the VPN adaptor. Currently in the environment they are all configured with the onboard mac.

Any help fella's?

1-way audio sounds like a VPN/Routing issue with the UDP/IP packets. The MAC address in IP Communicator is for registration/authentication only. It still relies on the OS for routing the network traffic over the correct NIC. Our VPN client uses the same MAC address on all PCs, therefore we standardized on the LAN adapter as well.

This may help, just ran accross this on the cisco web:

About Audio IP Address Auto-Detection Problems

If the PC on which Cisco IP Communicator is running uses an unsupported software VPN client, audio IP address auto-detection does not work. The resulting symptom is one-way audio.
