Currently I have a customer that access paging via a CO port on their current phone system. I am trying to find an IP device that I can connect to the IPO that will work like a CO port to interface with the existing intercom\paging system in the school. The IPO is located in another building and there is not an cabling between them. So using a CO port on the IPO will not work. They have a Telecenter intercom system. I have tried finding documentation on this unit with no luck.
Any good ideas?

The Telecenter is a straight POTS style CO connection. Any IP or SIP FXO device should work. We have used the Multitech brand on most of the interfaces we have done. I think this is the devconnect we used to make it work...

I have a MultiTech MVP130 arriving tomorrow. This unit can be programmed as an FXS or FXO. I was hoping I would be able to set to FXO and this would solve my issue. I have been told "yes" it will work and I have been told "no" it will not work. I have used the MultiTech as an FXS (analog port) but not as a FXO (CO port). If this does not work I do not know what I will do.
Thanks for the quick response.

You could also use a Grandstream HT-503.

It is a combo unit with physical ports for 1 FXS and 1 FXO port.

It cost about $50.00 US
