\\IP can access win shares but \\hostname cannot

Hi,guys:

I can access win shared folder by \\IP but not by \\hostname.
Ping the hostname replied OK.
Any ideas on it?Thanks in advance

Your client is probably not setup to use DNS for netbios name resolution or is misconfigured.
