Is there any way, using this router, to block traffic based on source IP address? I get hits on my mail server and web server from rogue workstations/servers, and rather than block them at the application level, I'd rather completely block the IP addresses at the router. I know how to do this in higher end routers, but the BEFSR doesn't seem to have that capabliity. Or am I missing something obvious (other than the fact that the BEFSR is not a high end router)?

mweinstock,

Not to my knowledge because, as you said, it is not a high-end router. Besides, what's to prevent these rogues from just changing addresses to get through. Why not use one of the free personal firewall packages to block access to all except approved addresses? Norton, Sygate, ZoneAlarm, Tiny Software and Kerio all have excellent packages.

Hope that helps.
