Hi All!
We have a DHCP on our network. The Workstations are all named on a room-by-room basis. Is there are way of getting the Name of the workstation and the IP Address without having to physically go to each individual machine?
In the DHCP manager, you can look at the addresses that have been assigned, and it will also tell you the NetBIOS name of the machine it has been assigned to. Look from the menu under "Scope" and "Active Leases".
Hope this helps Bill

and found a registry program that pings the stations and gets their IP addresses and Station names all in one go!
The program is called "Multi-Remote Registry Change". It's given me exactly the info I was after.
