We have IP Agent V5, which runs on a Citrix Server. Lately, a few telecommuters are having delays that may be independent of their network access performance.
They are reporting that when they go to make a call, they will pick up their phone at home, after they have dialed the number through IP Agent, and there is a long delay-yet the other end may already have picked up. This has happend even for extension to extension calls.
Thw weird part is that one of these workers is only home part time, and She's in the office the other time. In the office she uses the same extension. That is her office phone is setup as a softphone, and that's what she also uses at home. Today, while in the office, she had a similar experience-without IP Agent. Could this be a coincidence and a one type flukey thing? or, is there soemthing about specific softphones and their setup? Or, is there just something about IP Agent-besides just blaming their cable modem connection or DSL line.
