Hi, I have windows 2000 installed on my server with 6 websites currently running on it,they are all pointing at the same ip address, but now i need to point one of the websites at a different ip address can you help me please.

I've already added the ip address to the server and pointed my website at it in iis now i need to do something in the dns server as i understand it, any help would be appreciated, as i am not a very technical personj only a programmer.

Thanks stuart

What are you using for a dns server? If your ISP is doing it, have them change it for you. If you are using the DNS server on your 2000 box it's pretty simple to change.
Lets say your domain is called stuart.com
Just open the DNS Console (located in Administrative tools), Open your server, open your domain. Within the domain you will see host records.
some of them will say:
(same as parent folder) Host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
www Host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Just double click on the host host, and change the IP address.
