Hello,

Hope y'all doing fine. my question is, everytime when i check the statistic of one of my web sites then i see the IP Addresses listet. Is there any kind of way to get information to those IP addresses?

Like when i see "207.35.179.254" then i can look up somwehere to find out who was clicking the web site or where the visitor is located.

What information is it you are looking for?

You can always do a reverse DNS lookup. If it is successful, it will provide you some information. A RIPE lookup will also yeild ownership information.

Of course none of this lets you know anything about the actual user of the IP, but many ISPs will reverse resolve their DHCP assigned addresses to something like 207_35_179_254_dynamic.isp.net.

A traceroute will potentially yeild some info, and a visualroute trace will maybe give you some more.

well, i'm looking for information like where is the visitor located, maybe who is registered under that IP. It's just everytime when i check my status i see a IP addresses listed but no other information to it.

I want to know who the visitors are.

Is there a easy way for me to check information to the IP addresses?

I'd include the HTML to pull information from the user's browser. The information is likely to be more accurate. You can pull their actual IP, vs the potentially NAT'd IP, email address, name, etc.

Of course you are relying on the user to have filled this information in, but a good number of people do populate the contact information in their browsers.
