A Simple (hopefully) question;
How can I determine the IP address of a machine that I'm logged onto?
Thanks.

Can answer my own question. ifconfig -a.
Did a keyword search and found that the question had already been asked. Should have done that first!

Hi,

/usr/sbin/ifconfig -a

You'll get 2 lines per interface. The first one indicates the status of the interface, and you find the IP address on the second line, after field "inet".

Location of ifconfig command may vary depending on your Unix system ...
