IP Address of connection

Hi,

Is it possible to get the connections IP address in the same was as you can get the computer name using the HOST_NAME() function?

Is there a function in SQL Server for this or does anyone have some code to obtain this?

I'm not aware of any way to get the IP address of the connection. Haven't seen anything in the documentation. You should be able to obtain the IP address in you VB program. Ask the question in one of the VB forums (forum222). Terry L. Broadbent
