Is there a program I can use to block certain IP Adresses from accessing the internet but still access the companies network to work?
I work in a DOMAIN with about 110 employees...
Internet is either through explorer or firefox.. they receive there IP Address from our DHCP server which means their IP Address may change but doesnt really... Id like to stay out of the router to do this... Id like to be able to block by IP address or by computer name or by user name...
Reason for this......... some employees stream music over the internet. I have warned them mulitple times that it is using up the bandwidth and it is slowing it down for other users. One of them came back to me and said that the network utilization is only less than 5% by going to task manager, networking. Isnt that the action on the network and not the internet? So they arent listening and I want to block them in general.
