We have now had 2 sites with Dell PC's where the NIC & 5550 won't play together.

We got round it on the first site by connecting the 5550 & PC to different Switch ports, however this is not an option on the 2nd site.

Has anyone a "list" of chipsets/cards that I can give to the customer as "definetly" working ?

Mitel can only tell me those that "have problems

I have only encontured problems where the PC NIC card is capable of doing 1000Mbs when this is the case the console will have problems as it cannot perform as this rate only 10/100.

Other than this, I haven't seen any other problems.

Hope this helps.

MAke sure the NIC has the speed and duplex set to auto. If not, the 5550 goes nuts.

Have tried all combinations of speed settings, this is the one we have and Mitel have confirmed has problems "Intel 82566 onboard Network interface"
