I'm running IP406 V2 with PRI T1 and DID and have not been able to pass the originating digits when calls are forwarded from a users extension.

Here is what is happening currently:
1) Call comes in to the user and the CLID is displayed on the 5610SW phone.

2) If the user does not answer or has set FwUOn, the IP406 box forwards the call to the users cell phone by placing a call from that users extension.

3) As a result, the user on their cell phone only sees his extension and not the originating phone CLID.

Avaya says passing the original digits is not supported yet but I'm confident someone has done this before!

ISDN circuits will usual only accept an outbound CLI that is valid for the circuit. This is what prevents CLI forwarding.

I've done something kind of similar and you might be able to use this in your situation, so just in case it'll help:

I've set up an incoming call route to a shortcode set to a telephone number of 5551234ss and a feature of "dial" and it will pass CLID info from outside the system and outside our DID block. I don't know if this could be made applicable to an actual user that's forwarded somewhere or not.
