I am looking for support after the system is installed. Avaya is limited to warranty restrictions unless you purchase the maintenance program which is ridiculously priced. I have found a couple of local companies that provide the service.
Yes, we do install and support all Avaya systems. We also offer post sales support. Problem... We are in Northern VA. The forums on here are always great support portals. What type of system are you installing?
Duh!! I see the 406 up there now. If it is a new system, the Business Partner that sells you the system should register the system and pass along a three year warranty now. All the IP Office systems now have three year warranty on parts. They should also design a decent admin traiing class to show you how to do moderate changes on the system. The system is fairly easy to operate once you know the basics.
Have any of you experienced a problem with answering calls when using 3rd Party developed software (Non Avaya). I am developing a system to reside on the Avaya IP 406 and when I try to answer calls after the TAPI offering state i receive an error message "operation failed for unspecified reasons (TAPI error code 80000048).
The problem is, is that I have tried to use the example programs supplied in the Avaya SDK and they fail at the same point (when calling the TAPI call Call.Answer).
I am getting nothing from Avaya or the company that supplied the system.
