We have 2 IP 406 V2 remote installs.
Both run 3.0.69 & plan upgrade to 3.2.17

Nervous to upgrade as both are remote with NO technical staff.

We have Cisco WAN connection to each segment and use VNC to remote control or Terminal Server on far network.

Please verify the steps to upgrade.

Save off all files in Avaya directory.
Remove 3.0 Admin
Install 3.2 Admin
1. Update CPU 3.0.999
2. Update CPU 3.1.65
3. Update CPU 3.2.17
4. Update Digital and Analog exp units.
5. Update VoicemailPro after export to 3.2.15

Have I missed anything?

We plan to put a serial cable on the DTE port on the Dell Server that we can connect remotely if needed.

Thanks for your time.
Kelly Dauenhauer.

after you go to 3.1.65, you need to upgrade to 3.1.999 and then to 3.2.17.

I would strongly recomend you have an egineer on site for this, If the upgrade goes seriously wrong you coule be left with a very irate customer.
If the remote connection to the dell server is not independant of the IPO you may well findurself unable to use it

Good Luck
