I have an IP 403 at home with an anologue card.

I have one 2030 phone and 1 POT

When i try to dial a number i get disconnected on the digital phone

on the pot phone i get a busy tone

The anolgue card was in slot b and 4 of the dt lights stay lite in yellow

in slot a you get an occasional flash on the front lights

Can anyone tell me what is going on.

At first i tought it was the anolgue card but i got a new one and the same thing happens i also have two boxes which i can test with and i'm sure the results were the same.

i will test again this weekend when i get home.

Maybe a Cable issue also the pots are pluged into balams

Sorted the problem this weekend

The anologue card was in slot b wich stayed the same
but the anologue card has 4 ports and the ip office changes which port it uses from 1 - 4 and back to 1

So i used the wizard and created a new config and on the anolgue section just left port 1 avalible and placed the rest out of service.

solved problem the 4 yellow light indicate which line is in use when you attempt to dial

the only thing now id the DT phones Ring before the anolouge phones.

That is pretty standard. If your analog phones aren't caller id capable keep the callerid settings turned off for those extension ports, that will help some. But rule of thumb is digital responds faster than analog.
