IP 2033 Conference phone

Does anyone have the specs on the universal power supply to use with the 2033 conference phone PoE adapter? All I can find is that it requires 8.5 Watts and I'm wondering if I can just use a generic power supply from Radio Shack, rather than buy the one intended for it, as ill-advised as it may be.

Never heard of anyone doing this as the cable from the wall runs through this also. I don't think there is a generic as there would not be much of a need for someone to manufacture this part as all phones come with one.

Thanks for the response. This would be the power supply for the PoE module (NTEX11GAE6), which has a generic looking coaxial power input, so I'm guessing I should be able to match it up rather than buy the one intended. I can't even find a store that has the Nortel power supply in stock, and none of them even come with a power cord, they all say "Please order NNTK power cord separately", because it can be used in many different countries. So I'm kinda stuck...

If you have one of these phones please take a look at the Universal Power supply and see if it has any power output specifications, like volts and amps.

Sorry I thought I had more useful info than below, I guess that's why I spent £80 on one as I couldn't find a generic one.

I ended up getting a NTEX11CAE6 from a Nortel Partner.
