Hi all

I have several IP1692 Conference Phones FW.1.44 running on System platform 6.2 ACM 6.2.

Very often they lose the registration. The Disp looks normal, extension etc. After disconnect/connect on the LAN the Phone are working a few weeks till it happens again. Other IP9611 on the same Switch have not the same behavior and are registered all the time.

On the log file following:

20170218:143144000:347883:lxsys:MED:ZURPBXCM logmanager: IPEVT IPT_TCP_DOWN board=PROCR ip=10.245.x.y net_reg= 1 ext= 8210 the 1st ip=10.245..x.y;50659 the 2nd ip=0.0.0.0; 0 net_reg= 1 reason=endpoint_request
20170218:143655000:347891:lxsys:MED:ZURPBXCM logmanager: IPEVT IPT_UNREG board=PROCR ip=10.245..x.ynet_reg= 1 ext= 8210 ip= 10.245..x.y;49302 net_reg= 1 reason=2204

Any ideas?

2204 would indicate a forced unregistered event due to an expired registration/link loss delay timer. Sounds like something on the phone side might be locking up. This sounds like an injection of a previous issue in the 1.3 releases. You may want to try downgrading the phones 1 release.

I've always found the 1692 is very vulnerable to network problems (spanning tree loops, excessive broadcast etc) In fact, so much so, we tend to use them like canaries in coal mines!

I'd suggest that you take a traffic capture and see what turns up

Take Care

Matt
I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.
