IP=133.0.0.12 ,mask=255.255.0.0, no ping to interfaces

We have an AIX 4.3.3 maint level 8.

The fix IY19582 is installed,that is aimed to solve the IP "0.0" problem.

We have a customer with address 133.0.0.12 ,mask 255.255.0.0,router 133.0.0.1

We know the patch helps in our environment - but we have never used it in the invironment with the above mask.

In this situation ,where we had 4 network interfaces and the patch installed,the default interface would ping and work OK,the rest WILL NOT EVEN PING !!!

Any expirience with this situation ?
