ioserver /virtual server?

Anybody knows how to activivate the smitty command in the ioserver? by default is not in the path but i know that it is possible to activate it so that i can easily use the smitty command... thanks.. urgent!

its oki bro, im referring to IO server for POWER 5 machines.. i manage to bring it up.. thanks

The IOServer is a closed environement in which you cannot use
smitty.
Things are very simple, the VIO server does not support the same commands as a standard AIX partition.
There is no workaround available, you cannot have root access and no smitty.

on the contrary bro,, i manage to bring up the smitty in ioserver, there are ways where you can get bring up the environment of the real AIX inside the ioserver.. thankS! i manage to solve my problem... thanks!
