I am having the following hardware:

PIX 515, 32MB RAM, CPU Pentium 200MHZ, Flash 16MB

with IOS version Cisco PIX firewall version 6.2(2)

Now i want to change the IOS to version 7.22. I have the file but I can not copy to my hardware. is there any way to do this? the new IOS version of size 8MB. do u think the hardware is enough to accomodate this?

thank you

See the Cisco homepage for the requirements.

You have to buy an upgrade kit for the RAM to take it to 64 or 128mb depending on versions. Your pix 515 is End of life so I would suggest replacing it with a ASA 5505 or ASA 5510.
