Hi Folks,

I am getting following warnings when trying to setup job to upgrade IOS using Resource Manager Essentials (ciscoworks.

'RME Troubleshooting Tips and FAQs' is not helpful.

Any advise on warning and whether i should ignore this or not? and what risk do i have on applying it to a live environment?

------------------------------------------------------
Warning - SWIM1105: Image status for the selected image cannot be determined.
Ensure that the image is not in the Deferred status. See the relevant documentation on Cisco.com before upgrading the images.

Warning - SWIM1063: Minimum RAM requirement of the selected image cannot be determined.
RAM available on the device may not be enough to activate this image.
Update the minimum RAM value using View/Edit Image attributes or
make sure that the device has enough RAM to activate the selected image or select a different image.

Warning - SWIM1085: The MinFlash Attribute is unknown for the selected image.
Check whether the image fits on the selected partition or select a different image.

Warning - SWIM1106: Image selected for upgrade is compressed in .tar format. Flash will be overwritten while upgrading the image.
Ensure that necessary backup operations are completed before upgrading.

As long as you are sure that your deices have adequate memory and flash to handle the image you are going to load then you can probably ignore those messages. Those are just warnings . In the image library you are supposed to specify the ram , nvram and minimum bootflash requirements for each image , CW then checks each device to see if it has enough of all those parmameters to load the image . If you have not done that then it is warning you that it cannot determine if the device has enough space because the parmameters were not defined . Either define the parameters or manually check and make sure the device has enough ram.nvram and bootflash space.
