IOS IPSec VPN into a VLAN?

Hey,

I have a Cisco 2620 on a T1 and want to set up VPN accounts for remote users. Is it possible to "drop" an authenticated user into a particular VLAN? I have about 20 VLANs.

If not, is it better to set up a software-based PPTP VPN server like in Win2k? I had hoped to offer ipsec since it's faster and more secure (or so I heard)...
