Hi there, in desperate trouble - I accidentally erased the flash memory and the nvram and well, pretty much everything off a 2600 that has a bri, a fastethernet rj45, and a fE 100 Base FX installed. I downloaded one instance of 12.0 which is the correct number, but I think the version I chose (enterprise), was wrong. I think it's wrong because when I loaded it into flash it is only aware of the fastethernet rj45 and neither of the other ports. Do I have to download a different version OR is there something I have to enable or install for it to recognise the ports???

If you can answer this, I'll advise you on stock options . . .

Most likely you have the 2620 model which i think you need image c2600-i-mz.120-7.T

that IOS is IP only so if you have other protocols like IPX, you need a different one. On the 2600s, there are couple of flavors so look on the back of the router and get the model number.

I'm assuming you have CCO login for Cisco?

These are the 3 versions of the 2600, you need to pick the right one and then pick the feature set you need.

2610-2613
2610-2621
2650-2651

12.1 release 7 is the latest images I have installed on 2620
routers. So far they appear to be ok . Jeter@LasVegas.com Remember to pass Cisco's CCNA you need at least an 849 to pass!!!
