Firts let me apologise for posting this in another forum as I have only just found this "right" one.

I am having a strange problem with one of my hard drives.
When I boot from the affected drive as a mian drive (C) I get the following message.
"Whilst trying to access IOS
Windows security failure
You must restart your machine"

I have ran the same hard drive as a secondary drive and all is well.
I have copied the IOS from the working drive to the faulty one but still the same message
This faulty drive was my main (C) drive and has all my data on and is recoverable when ran as a back up drive(D) but the routes are all wrong.
Does anyone have any ideas about this? If I am in the wrong forum or you need more info let me know.

OS Windows 98

Freestone.

I already pointed that out as my first post says

Am I now to be punished for not knowing this site inside out?
I'm only after a bit of advice

Regards, Phil.

My eyes weren't quite open at 5 am when I posted, so I missed your first line, and for that I apologize. However, when knowingly duplicating posts, please do us all a favor and provide the reference to the other thread(s) so our efforts aren't duplicated.
