Is it necessary to initiate a network connection with IONCI in order to pick cil files on hdu by MDDT over network port ???

if it is just a file copy via FTP (wich MDDT does) you only need a network MML port.

Network port is not necessary for MDDT. Only correct IP address for NIU.

Yes, thank you very much. I got also help from our technical support today and I understand now that network port doesn't have to be OUT for this purpose.

Now it works !
