IONCI settings for CCM

Hi People,

I am in trouble with CCM 4.0 settings.
IP address in IONCI: addres of CCM server, or address of MD110?
Local port in IONCI: port of CCM server or port of MD110?

During installation of CCM which local port and IP address should be set?

I would appreciate a example from a living system.

Hi,
IONCI is used to initiate the CSTA application on the NIU board.
IP address in IONCI is IP address of NIU board in MD110.
Local port in IONCI is port of CCM server. The Port is a TCP/IP port number between 1024 and 65535.

Example as follows:
IONPC:EQU=1-1-20-4,IP=195.100.113.121,GATE=195.100.113.1,...
IOEQI:EQU=1-1-20-4,IODEV=CSTA1,TYPE=NETWORK,USAGE=OUT;
IONCI:IODEV=CSTA1,USER=CSTA,LPORT=2500;
IONCP; shows IP=195.100.113.121 and PORT=2500

What whfy is listing is an application link configuration.
This is used by al.40 to connect to md ,and is used for
CCA users.
For CCM mis-port the default install port is 2000 as LPORT
(listening port in MD)and USER=MIS.

IOEQI:EQU=1-1-20-4,IODEV=SYSNET1,TYPE=NETWORK,USAGE=OUT;
IONCI:IODEV=SYSNET1,USER=MIS,LPORT=2000;
(some applications require predefined username
and for CCM it's MIS)

So the whole initiation will be:

Initiation of MIS interface

The Management Information System (MIS) can receive MIS events through one or more Ethernet connections on NIU/NIU2 boards, or by being assigned to a serial individual on the NIU2/NIU/ICU/ICU2 board that is used as an interface to the PABX.

Prerequisites

If using Ethernet connections (NIU/NIU2 boards), the NIU/NIU2 board must be properly initiated.

If using a serial data link (NIU/NIU2/ICU/ICU2 board), an NIU/NIU2/ICU/ICU2 must be installed in the system.

Directory information on all extensions designated as agents should have been defined in the MIS.

Execution (for Ethernet port on NIU/NIU2 board)
IONPC:......
IOEQI:EQU=1-1-20-4,IODEV=SYSNET1,TYPE=NETWORK,USAGE=OUT;

Key command IONCI to initiate a network connection. (Parameter USER = MIS)
IONCI:IODEV=SYSNET1,USER=MIS,LPORT=2000;

Key command IONCP to verify the result.

Key command ACFUI to initiate an MIS link for the MIS link group.
ACFUI:LGRP=CCMMIS,IODEV=....; (LGRP match the misport link group name in ccm server for eventservice)
Key command ACFUP to verify the result.

And I suppose that during CCM installation,in "Communications Settings" i should choose:
Switch IP address =IP address of NIU
Port number = 2000
Link group =CCMMIS
