Does anyone know of a router that supports a way to make a wireless network invisible so that WiFi enabled computers don't automatically find the network, and you have to manually enter the address/name of the router?

Thanks!

Correct, disabling SSID broadcast will not deter many...hackers. For the average computer user, a network with no SSID being broadcast means it doesnt exist. If you just dont want your mom, for instance, to find your network, disabling the SSID works fine...but then again, so does putting on WEP or WPA or anything else. If you are trying to deter hackers, turning off the SSID broadcast will do very little to help you.

The only secure network is a wired one...period. I use wireless networking for personal and work and everything in between, but Ill never put anything on a wireless network that I cant live with someone seeing or messing with.
