I have done this before and it worked, this time it doesn't.
I have a report that is a customer letter. Because sometimes staff changes, I put the signer's name, title & phone number in a little table and created a subreport that says

John Smith
Credit Manager
Phone 111-222-3333

I have this little subreport in a report footer. It is not linked, as there is nothing to link to. In the properties for both the report footer and the subreport Visible is set to Yes. But it doesn't print or view. I set the border style to solid so I can see it is there, because the border is visible, but nothing else. Went back to the successful report and compared, to no avail. Deleted and re-created the subreport. Still the same. I must be missing something obvious.

If anyone has a suggestion, I would appreciate hearing it. [bigears](Even, "take the day off"!)
Thank you!

I found my own answer. Like my grandmother used to say,
"It was in the last place I looked!"

I learned that Access does not print headers and footers in subreports, so when I moved the fields to the Details section, they are visible in the main report.
