Invisible Emails??

I am looking at a problem with one of my users. His indox on the side viewbar says he has 50 new emails but when he clicks on the indox folder he only see a couple of emails, not the whole 50.

He has just come back from a 2 week holiday.

Please advise

You are filtering messages by type. Simple thing to do is click VIEW-MESSAGES-ALL.
