Hi, in a section of a drawing I am working on, there is an invisible box. I cannot select anything in that area unless I select from before the box. I can drag this box but it goes straight back. Have any of you had this problem before?

Thanks

Is it possible to do a LIST on the box? Sounds like an image or a viewport maybe.

No, I can do anything with it. I try to drag it off and it just goes back. There were no images pasted in.

Sorry, that should have said can't, not can.

Are you in Layout space (paperspace) when this object is seen? When you doubleclick inside it, does the MODEL button on the status bar turn on?

It is in Model Space. Nothing happens when I double click inside it. I can only see it when I try to make a selection box inside the region and this strange box drags with the mouse. But I have fixed it by copying all into a new dwg and saving over the old one. That seems to get rid of these types of problems.

Thanks

Try erasing everything but the box then LIST and ALL. Don't save! :)
