Invisible attachments in Notes 6

Hello,

I have the following problem using Notes 6. When someone using Outlook 2003 sends me a html email with an attachment, I receive the mail allright, but I can't see any attachment. The size of the mail indicated that the attachments is included. When this person sends me the same mail as a plain text mail, the attachment comes through allright.
Does anyone know if this is a Notes problem or a Microsoft problem and how to solve it or work around it?

Outlook is irritating in that the default internet mail format that is used is not entirely compatible with the internationally-defined standard. Once again a case of MS wanting to redefine the world.

Ask your correspondant to choose the other (I think there are only two) format in his Preferences panel, and it will probably be solved.

[irrelevant]It would be nice if MS could patch that once and for all. I'm sure there are thousands of Outlook users who have never touched the Preferences panel and who experience difficulties in Internet mail that they do not understand, just because of this issue.[/irrelevant]
