Hi. I am going to develop an inventory control system for a company. I was wondering which approach would be best in the system. Should I use a OO system or should I use a relational database for this one?...I would like to know ur opinions as to whether which approach would best suit for an inventory control. WHich approah is most widely used these days.
thanks.

centrino,

Most of all the database systems you have heard about are still being used today. It all comes down to what you want to accomplish, what size DB you expect to service, what platform/environment you intend to use, what hardware will be available, what level expertise your shop plans to use in building this system, and so on...

But then, you didn't give us any such hint.
