Inventory Item Report - Windows XP 1

I am trying to generate a detailed inventory item report in Great Plains 8.0. When running the report on a Windows XP machine, I receive the following error message:

Inconsistent restriction/sort expression Please add the following restriction "D05443 Free on Boar = D05443 Free on Boar"

I don't receive an error message when running the report from a Windows 2000 machine. This is a 'canned' report.

I haven't loaded the latest GP service pack, but the operating system has been updated with SP2.

Is this a SP issue?

I would issue a problem ticket with GP on this.

One thing I would check first though is to copy the reports.dic from the 2000 machine to the xp machine and eliminate any chance that it's the dictionary problem.

Of course I'm assuming that the dynamics service packs and dex versions are the same on both machines.

I just made a google search using "Inconsistent restriction/sort expression" and found a document by Horizon Int'l.

They said the error was coming from Report Writer.
