7.6.300b sql 2000. We are in multi-bin with advanced distribtuion. We plan on counting bins a100-a500 in a cyle count batch. So we get our tags with bin number and item number on them. However, how do you ensure every physical bin is counted in the warehouse, not just occupied bins according to macola's mutli-bin system. We have built a master bin table outside of macola since it lacked this capacity in our modules. So say, a102 has something in it but we have no tag? How do you post these counts? Extra Tags?

Macola does not maintain a listing of every bin in the warehouse that is a true bin master not tied to bins with items assigned to them.. The only way a bin is created in macola is if it is occupied with product. This extra table allows us to have a listing of every bin, macola provides a listing of every bin occupied, and we can then produce a list of empty bins to use for put-away.

It appears to be a cycle count issue. Physical count allows extra tag printing. Have you reported this to Macola as a possible bug?
