Hi All,
Can anyone tell me a piece of software costing no more than £2,000 which will help me achieve the following for a company of about 500 machines with an extra 250 printers?
1) Hardware Asset Inventory - List all hardware plugged into the network.
2) Allow me to add on any items which are not plugged into the network, i.e. decommisioned kit in the stores.
3) Allow me to assign a custom tag to each item (company asset number)
4) Preferaly a server/agent scenario where the server will deploy an agent to each device which then talks to the server at regular intervals, keeping all info in real time and avoiding the need to perform scans on a regular basis.
I have so far looked at:
Visual Audit X3
Global Netowrk Inventory
Asset Tracker for Networks.
I think Trackit and Numara will be way out of our price range.
Any ideas would be most welcomed!
